getting to milan was HECTIC as hell. we had a 7 am train to catch, but we had to stop by the airport first to pick up my lost luggage. we had asked diego to pick us up at 4 am to give us plenty of time (considering the airport was 1.5 hours away). we got to the hotel lobby 15 minutes late and diego was still no where to be found. we ended up having the receptionist at the desk give him a call and wake him up :( he drove us SO fast. he was going 180 down these windy roads and i swore we were going to die. he got us the the airport with plenty of time left over, however, the luggage lost and found didn't open til 8. GR8. so we headed to the train station, switched our tickets, went back to the airport and waited til 8, then went back to the train station to catch our train... this is where we also had to part ways with diego :(

we were only in milan for a day, but we had a fun day full of shopping, shooting for the hotel, and a fancy dinner.

our night ended with a bike ride around milan. even though we only had a day here, it was absolutely magical!
